More Bedding and Bath: A Little Shop of Creature Comforts

More Bedding and Bath is located at 1103 NE 34th Court, Oakland Park, across the street from the Art Park. The store officially opened in July, but the grand opening with the City took place in early October 2021. Situated in a small plaza, don’t let the unassuming storefront fool you. More Bedding and Bath is packed full of creature comforts.

The shop offers beds, bedding furniture, rugs, luxury bathrobes and towels, and a pet bed line. The pet bed line includes pillows, bed in a bag sets, and crate mats for pets of all sizes. They are also exclusive Hunter Douglas window coverings dealers and are available for in-home consultations upon request.

More Bedding and Bath: Personalized Sleep Service

Unlike big box stores we are accustomed to, you won’t be immediately bombarded by a staff of sales sharks looking for your attention. Instead, you will find the friendly faces of owner Tony Moreno and his eager to please right-hand woman, Janet Conklin, who will be ready to whisk you away on an exciting sleep adventure. They take pride in taking the time to get to know your sleeping preferences – Trust me! I took them up on pillow advice, and they were more than patient with me as I tried many.

Like most adults, we are in a time where our bedrooms, bedding, and bath needs have become slightly elevated. Spending more time at home and emphasizing more importance on a healthy sleep regimen, gone are the days of hunting the bargain racks for the best deal; more of us are now looking to splurge a little on life’s comforts, and More Bedding and Bath is just the place.

Creature Comforts Galore

From CBD-infused and scented pillows to luxurious Egyptian cotton sheets, More Bedding and Bath is a place to elevate your home with expert knowledge along the way. They specialize in customer comfort and personalization – with the customer’s needs at the forefront.

Giving Back To The Community Near and Far

They also have a penchant for giving back. Each company they work with gives back in some way to communities. For instance, one of the rug companies they supply supports young women in India and fair & ethical trading. The pet beds also give back to charities that help dogs and cats in need. So a purchase at More Bedding and Bath not only supports a local businesses it supports charitable causes all over the world.

Supply Chain Challenges

In these COVID/post COVID times many companies, both large and small have faced supply chain issues. More Bedding and Bath is not immune to those issues. While there have been some delays with manufacturers, they try their best to stay, stocked with as much as they can for their clients’ every need. And if it is not in stock they will go the extra mile to get it in stock as soon as possible.

Why Oakland Park?

When asked why Oakland Park? Conklin and Moreno agreed: The area is up and coming. For that reason it was the perfect fit for their unique little shop of creature comforts.  In addition to Oakland Park being an ideal location, they enjoy the support of the community, commissioners, and fellow business owners in the surrounding area.
