A Sneak Peek into Oak Tree by Pulte

The public golf course Oak Tree Country Club in west Oakland Park is one of the latest land acquisitions by Pulte builders. Pulte has been a prominent leader in buying old golf courses around Florida and developing them into communities. After receiving approval by the City Commission last fall in September, Pulte immediately began clearing the land in order to erect the Oak Tree community.

As you drive by you can see the first of the homes beginning to rise. These are most likely the model homes and the site of the sales center. However, what inquiring minds really want to know is what homes will be available and at what price. Pulte has not divulged specific information yet as to pricing or available models. However, we are not completely information-less!

Oak Tree Site Plan

The development will be built in three phases. The first phase is in blue. The second phase, which includes single family homes and townhomes is in red. The third and last phase is in purple.

The rendering below shows the site amenities. The green shows green space and the blue shows areas where there will be water retention ponds. Specifically the site will have a 9.3 acre Public Linear Greenway Park on three sides, the northeast, east and south sides. There will be passive and active recreation areas with a total of 14.6 acres of open space area for use by Oak Tree residents.

The Homes and Townhomes at Oak Tree

Based on the information Pulte provided to the City we do know that the site will have 405 total homes. There will be 273 single family homes priced between $400 and $600K.  There will be 132 attached townhomes starting in the $300s.  The development is projected to offer 9 different single family home models and 4 different townhome models.

Because Pulte has so many other developments around Florida we noticed that the models  offered at Oak Tree are also being built in their other developments. So it seems reasonable to speculate that models used in those developments will be the same at Oak Tree. On that note we offer you a sneak peek into the models offered at Oak Tree.

*Please note this is not a guarantee but an educated speculation into what is to come based on information about the project submitted to the City for approval.
