The site of the former Oak Tree Golf Course on the western side of Oakland Park is finally beginning to take shape as the new for Oak Tree homes by Pulte. Some of the first model homes are nearing completion on the site. The entrance way off of Prospect Road is also beginning to take shape. The sales center’s anticipated opening is scheduled for late August.
The excitement began in September of last year when the project was approved by the City Commission. Since then, the excitement to know what Pulte had planned for the site has been palpable.
Here at LivingInOaklandPark.com we have worked hard to follow the news and publish information when and sometimes before it became available to the public. 9 New Businesses Coming to Oakland Park and A Sneak Peek into Oak Tree by Pulte are just a couple of the article we published with information about this new and modern community.
As a local Realtor® and editor for LivingInOaklandPark.com I strive to always find out and publish up-to-date information regarding Oak Tree and other projects. When I published information about the VIP visits there was a deluge of inquiries and the available VIP consultation time slots filled up quickly.
Yesterday, July 20th, the much anticipated Oak Tree development in Oakland Park inaugurated its sales. The first VIP consultations were held at Pulte’s Parkview community in Hollywood. Despite the fact that the pricing for the new homes at Oak Tree are pushing current real estate prices in Oakland Park, the response was overwhelmingly positive. A record number of future Oak Tree residents reserved their home sites with a $5000 deposit and joined the Oak Tree Founders Club.
Between yesterday and this morning, 8 different home sites were reserved. Of the 8 home sites, 7 of them were for the 67 foot lots or the biggest houses that make up the Estate collections. The home site for these properties have the largest square footage and the most enchanting views of one of the bigger lakes in the community. The cost of each home site has not been finalized but a range of premiums was disclosed.
With only 70 total sites for the Estates collection, and only 22 of them being sold in Phase 1, if they continue selling at this rate there will be few of them available when the sales center opens in late August.
