In the early morning of December 1, 2022, Oakland Park BSO deputies and Fire Rescue responded to a call regarding an incident on I95 involving a body lying next to a vehicle. The vehicle was on the south bound lanes near the Oakland Park Boulevard exit. When emergency crews arrived Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) was already on the scene.
On the scene rescue crews determined the woman was deceased. Broward Sheriff’s Office Homicide Unit are investigating the circumstances surrounding her death and have yet to determine her identity and circumstances surrounding her death.
Victim was Pronounced Deceased on Scene
According to investigators, during a routine patrol along I95 a Road Ranger found the victim.
After being pronounced dead on the scene by paramedics, a representative from the County’s Medical Examiner’s Office responded. The ME’s office will be responsible for investing the cause and manner of death.
