Sexual Predator Spotted Talking To Children

On Thursday September 8th BSO Deputies responded to a call by concerned neighbors regarding a man that appeared to be trying to entice children to come to him. The incident occurred near the corner of N.E. 38th St and NE 3rd Avenue soon after students at Oakland Park Elementary had been let out of school.

Frederick Muller Convicted Sex Offender Arrested

After BSO identified the man, Frederick Muller, they discovered he was a registered sex offender. Muller had failed to register as a sex offender and to renew his driver’s license with his current address. This gave BSO deputies grounds to arrest Muller. He is currently at Broward County jail held on a $10,500 bond.

Records show that Muller was convicted in Broward County of lewd and lascivious battery on a child between the ages of 12 to 15. He had been release from prison less than three months ago on  June 27, 2022.
