Details About the Collision
At around 5:25 p.m. today BSO received a call regarding an accident on NE 34th Ct and Dixie Highway in Oakland Park. The Brightline train had collided with a white four door sedan.
BSO and Oakland Park Fire Rescue responded to the call and transported the driver of the vehicle involved in the crash to a local hospital. It has been reported that the driver’s injuries are not life threatening.
The area around the crash was closed down to the public was asked to see alternative routes while BSO investigated the incident.
