Car Shot Up in East Oakland Park

On Monday February 7th, a little past 2:30 a.m., BSO deputies responded to a call of a reported shooting near the 1800 block of East Oakland Park Boulevard near Peter Pan.  When BSO arrived they found the driver of a red Mazda shot several times. 

Incident with Another Driver

The initial investigation revealed that the shooting victim was driving when he became involved in an incident with another driver. The other driver allegedly shot the victim and his vehicle. It was determined that the injuries the victim sustained were not life threatening. He was transported to an area hospital for treatment. 

Circumstances Under Investigation by BSO

BSO’s Violent Crimes Unit and Crime Scene Unit continue to investigate the circumstances that led to the shooting.  Detectives believe the shooting may have been the result of an altercation that began at a club.
