As residents of Oakland Park, we know a lot about life in our little City but how much do we really know about the inner workings of our City government. We may read a news report here or there or catch wind of something polemic, but unless you are in the City government understand how it really works is a mystery to most people. However, with the Local Government Academy (LGA), a free 10 week course offered by the City, it does not need to be!

The City is now accepting applications for the 2022 LGA. So if you want to know more about what goes on behind the scenes, be sure to register for the 2022 LGA.

Local Government Academy

The LGA offers participatns on in-depth, behind-the-scenes look at how the City operates each day. The City of Oakland Park is excited to bring back the LGA in 2022.
