Hit and Runs

Smashed Vehicle Windshield

As the population of South Florida continues to grow so does the number of hit and runs. In Living In Oakland Park alone we have published news of several hit and runs in our community over the past year. Not all of them were fatal but all of those these crimes touched were forever changed by their callous senselessness.

Woman Left Lying On The Road

On the morning of July 19th at around 1:42AM BSO received a call about a woman lying in the westbound lanes of Commercial Boulevard near Dixie Highway. The woman, Concepcion Siverts, evidenced injuries consistent with being hit by a vehicle. Siverts, a resident of Lauderhill was pronounced dead on the scene.

Ongoing Investigation

To place an anonymous tip contact Broward Crime Stoppers at 954-493-TIPS (8477) or online at browardcrimestoppers.org.
