Pulte Announces VIP Sales at Cassia Estates Homes

If you include their other brands  They have This is not surprising considering the rate at which Florida is growing and the high demand for homes. 

Oak Tree and Cassia Estates

Two of their latest projects are right here in South Florida. One project, Oak Tree is being built on the old Oak Tree Golf Course in Oakland Park. The other is Cassia Estates which is slated to be built on 20 acres of land on the southwest corner or Oakland Park Boulevard and NW 31st Ave in Lauderdale Lakes. The two projects are within three miles of each other and will transform both of the areas in which they are located.

Oak Tree Homes in Oakland Park

Oak Tree launched sales in July of 2020. In an interview with Jeremy Needleman, General Sales Manager for Pulte for Southeast Florida, in November of 2020,  before sales began at Oak Tree they had over 3000 names on the interest list. Once Pulte opened for sales the demand was extremely high. Pulte sold nearly 10% of the homes available at Oak Tree in a few months.

Cassia Estates is poised to generate the same amount of interest given its central location and affordable price point. 

Cassia Estates in Lauderdale Lakes

Pulte acquired 20 acres of land in the City of Lauderdale Lakes in January 2020. The project they submitted to the City included  84 homes with 5 different models for buyers to choose from. The houses at Cassia Estates will be both single and two story and will vary in size from 1447 square feet to 2830 square feet. The community will not have resort style amenities like Oak Tree but homeowners may build private pools. 

The two story Citrus Grove will have over 2800 square feet of living space.

Sales Launch at Cassia Estates

The Cassia Estates project was approved by the City of Lauderdale Lakes in the same year Pulte acquired the property,  2020. Soon after the approval Pulte began clearing the land in preparation for building. In the November 2020 interview, Bridjette Shelfo, Vice President of Sales for Pulte’s Southeast Region, shared that the price point of Cassia Estates would be in the high $300K range. When they announced sales this last week, the announcement reiterated this price point.

The homes at Oak Tree, in some cases have gone up nearly $80,000 or close to 13% since sales launched in July 2020. The prices are keeping pace with the demand for single family homes in Broward County, which is extremely high. Given the example at Oak Tree, it can be reasonably assumed that Cassia Estates will generate similar interest.

When VIP sales in the Spring of 2021 launch those first buyers will have an opportunity to lock-in introductory pricing.  Once sales get underway there is no guarantee the prices will remain in the $300k price point.
