Date, Time and Location of Oakland Park’s Dancing in the Street Block Party
Oakland Park’s 3rd Annual “Dancing in the Street” block party is set for Friday, April 26th.
This free live music block party along Oakland Park Main Street (NE 12 Avenue) will feature some of South Florida’s popular and talented musical performers.
Entertainment is scheduled from 6 to 10 p.m. on multiple stages setup throughout the City’s Downtown Culinary Arts District. A food court and beer garden will be located at the 3500 Block of Main Street.

A “KidZone” in the the 3400 block of NE 12 Avenue will offer a variety of activities including sidewalk chalk art, face painting, bead craft making, cookie decorating, plus interactive activities hosted by Urban Farming Institute, Champions World Boxing & Fitness, Art by Ang and Build-A-Field Trip. PLUS treats for sale by Oakland Park businesses Sandy Sweet Bakery and Leo’s Gourmet Frozen Treats
Event parking will be available at the two Dixie lots on north and south side NE 38 Street, as well as the City lots at NE 38 Street & 13 Avenue and behind Big Dog Station. Event ride-share location is on the corner of NE 12th Avenue & NE 37th Street. There will also be a complementary shuttle transporting attendees from Jaco Pastorius Park.
