This Friday June 14th Funky Buddha will inaugurate Oakland Park’s first Summer Nights celebration with a 90 minute tasting and beverage pair presentation.
Afterwards watch Ralph Breaks the Internet under the moonlight with the family on the lawn at Jaco Pastorius Park. Refreshments available for purchase. Bring your chairs and blankets and get ready to relax to a movie under the stars.

June 15th – Father’s Day Fishing Tournament
This free catch and release event is open to anglers of all ages and genders. The tournament starts promptly at 7:00 am in Royal Palm Park. Awards ceremony begins at 10:30am for Biggest Fish Caught, Most Fish Caught, and Casting Contest.

June 22 – Tree Giveaway at Wimberly Field
At 8:00 am on Saturday June 22 the City of Oakland Park will be giving native trees and shrubs and Florida friendly landscaping to Oakland Park residents and business owners. Up to three trees per household will be given. Proof of residency or business ownership required.
