A 14 year old girl has gone missing from Oakland Park, and BSO’s Missing Persons Unit is asking for the public’s help in order to find her.
According to BSO detectives Giona Thompkins was last seen on May 23rd at 5pm near the 2000 block of Northwest 32nd Court in Oakland Park. Thompkins was wearing a blue shirt and blue shorts. She had a black backpack with her.
Police say Giona is 5 feet 5 inches tall, and weighs approximately 160 pounds. She has black hair and brown eyes.
Anyone with information about her whereabouts are urged to call Detective Leonard Charla at 954-321-4274 or the BSO non-emergency number at 954-764-HELP (4357).
